Who Is Rebel Moon Drector, Zack Snyder?

Zack Snyder, Rebel Moon’s director of reknown used to deal in all things photography before venturing the realm of film. He has directly classics such as 300, Dawn Of The Dead and Man Of Steel among many other hits.
His directorial debut on Netflix was with the eponymous Army Of The Dead which did very well though its follow up Army Of Thieves was not as heralded and the future of that particular franchise is uncertain.
His work on The Justice League ended in 2017 as he “just didn’t have it in him to fight the good fight anymore” upon the death of his daughter, Autumn. This led to a controversial version by Joss Whedon released fall of 2017 that did decently in the box office at over $600 million to middling reviews.
In time, Zack Snyder released his blueprint for what all 3 Justice League movies would have been like and thus:

Release The Snyder Cut Movement
You had to have been living under a rock or possibly under the planet to not have heard of this movement but if you have not, the long and short of it was countless media in entertainment via Youtube, pobcasting, vlogs and what not, all requested for the Snyder Cut.
The novelty is not lost on us with a similar petition attempted by lovers of the Suicide Squad movie to Release the Ayer cut which is not experiencing the same level of success with movie execs.
To cap this off, online petition gained more that 180,000 signatures. That’s a lot for a movie before the advent of the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Trial.
What Is Rebel Moon?
Rebel Moon is a space ace type of jaunt from what I can tell and appears bottom heavy in some type of lore which we all know Snyder is big on.
Did not have a clue what it would be apart with exception to what Zack mentioned: that this was supposed to be a Star Wars movie that fell through.
What does this mean?
When it comes to Zck, it could be anything.
He did a Dawn of The Dead movie and that was far and away better and more explosive than the original.
Going by that metric, it will definitely be a banger of some kind, like all Snyder’s movies.
Then they released the full trailer which confirmed my previous statement.

Zack wrote the movie with Shay Hatton and Kurt Hohnstad and directed the two coming parts of this story. He broke things down further in a panel on Netflix’s Geeked Weekend on their website blog with a transcript of it here.
Synder is all forces go and is using all his abilities on this one. I’m seeing touches of 300, Man Of Steel, and even Tarsem Singh’s Immortals’ speed stop action visuals.
The lead actress with a strong physique here is Sofia Boutella of The Mummy fame. She seems to have gotten the Hollywood treatment and is raring to go, a great fit for the role she plays as the Scargiver. What this means, I do not know but I have a sneaking suspicion we’re about to find out tomorrow!
